From Haribo to Frikadelli

After two years in the HARIBO Racing Team, Lance David Arnold will join Frikadelli Racing as regular driver for the 2018 VLN season. “We had two exciting and fantastic years with HARIBO Racing and I wish to thank each and every single member of the team around Daniel Lemm for their commitment and engagement”, says the racing driver from Duisburg/ Germany and he adds: “I’ve been thinking a lot about over the winter break and thoroughly reviewed all the proposals. Finally, I came to the conclusion that the concept and the realignment of Frikadelli Racing fits best with my personal targets.”

Arnold, who was competing in the Porsche brand cups Carrera Cup and Supercup from 2005 to 2009, thus returns to the Porsche brand. Arnold will participate in the complete season of the VLN endurance championship with the Frikadelli Racing Team and fight for podium positions. The calendar of Arnold and the team of Sabine Schmitz and Klaus Abbelen also includes this year’s 24h Race at the legendary Nordschleife where the 31-years old will use the same more than 500 HP strong 911 GT3 R 991 of the latest generation as in the VLN.

The 64th ADAC Westfalenfahrt on 24th March will mark the official start of the VLN endurance championship season for the fast German driver: “I am very much looking forward to this new challenge. Frikadelli Racing has more than ten years of experience with Porsche and it is one of the flagships in the VLN. The philosophy and the ambition of the team convinced me and I am sure that we will be able to achieve a lot together in the coming season”, says the moderator of the VOX Car Magazine “auto mobil”.
