Starting from the season 2018, BASTUCK & Co. GmbH joins the VLN endurance championship Nürburgring as official sponsor and will thus further increase its activities in motorsport. For the moment being, the new engagement in the worldwide biggest grassroots series is set for a period of three years and it forms part of the company’s strategy.
“We are very happy to welcome a new partner within the VLN family”, says Dietmar Busch, VLN VV GmbH Managing Director. “The company is by no means unknown in motorsport and will go very well with our series.” The logo will be displayed on all cars on the left and right sides as well as on the C-pillar, and in addition on the prizegiving and interview backdrop.
“Currently already, we have some cooperation projects with many VLN teams in the field of the development of competition exhaust systems so that the new sponsor agreement will perfectly round up this strategy”, says Managing Director Rainer Bastuk and he adds: “We use our motorsport engagement to test our products to the limit under racing conditions. Also from this point of view, a cooperation with the VLN is more than logical and we are looking forward to the new season.”
The company BASTUCK & Co. GmbH is based in Lebach/ Saarland. The high-quality exhaust systems, performance catalytic units and body kits are developed and produced at their main base so that all products are “Made in Germany”. Apart from the modern area, BASTUK also undertakes a classic department to serve the spare part market for classic cars. As far as spare components for the makes Volvo, MG, Austin Healey and Triumph are concerned, BASTUCK has meanwhile become the market leader in Europe. More than 40,000 parts are on stock for prompt delivery. About 4,200 of those are reproduced by BASTUCK as they are no longer available on the market or of minor quality. The supply of parts of the company ranges from the smallest screw up to the complete engine or bodywork parts and, just like for the current automobiles, it is constantly further increased.
