Before the start of the 41st VLN season, all the customers of Kissling Motorsport may enjoy some very special advantages. Upon the purchase of an Opel Astra TCR with 350 HP (price: 114,00 euros), the team from Bad Münstereifel near the Nürburgring will pay the entry fees for all the nine races of the VLN endurance championship at the Nürburgring.
“The customer will receive a competitive grassroots sports car at a favourable price which he can use in more than 18 TCR series worldwide. Without applying any kind of modifications, the car can today be entered at a VLN race and tomorrow be at the start of the TCR International”, says Team Principle Stefan Kissling with regard to the production-based, yet very powerful touring car. The regulations for the front-wheel driven TCR cars with two-litres turbo engines has been introduced in 2015 and enjoys a great and growing popularity all over the world.
The Opel Astra TCR made its debut in the VLN 2016 at the Barbarossapreis race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The experts of Kissling Motorsport are specialised onto the make which is produced in Rüsselsheim/ Germany. With a weight of 1,200 kilograms, the compact sports car is 60 kilograms lighter than the series model.
