Hennerici takes the win at the Tuner Grand Prix

The VLN series is on its summer break. Not so for Marc Hennerici and Teichmann Racing who were successfully competing at the Hockenheimring. The spectators at the Tuner Grand Prix hereby could enjoy a spectacular show. The line-up in the final saw Hennerici in the Radical RXC GT against Daniel Schwerfeld in a Viper ACR of Geiger Cars and Hennerici finally took the victory. An interesting concept with the fastest participants starting at the back in this event.

Schwerfeld had already gained an advance of more than ten seconds. After Hennerici, whose car is fitted with an H&R suspension, had made his way through the heavy traffic, he started to catch up. After almost ten minutes, he took the opportunity for overtaking out of the slipstream at the end of the start and finish straight, he passed his rival on the inside of the so-called ‘Nordkurve’ and went into the lead. He kept his leading position until the chequered flag came out. In the current VLN season, Hennerici achieved his best result at VLN race 4 with his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, finishing fourth in this class and 16th overall.
