Successors to Karl Mauer and Peter Bröcher elected

In their last meeting, the nine shareholders of VLN e.V. & Co. oHG have elected Ralph-Gerald Schlüter (65, photo left) and Michael Bork (57) as successors to the current Chief Representative Karl Mauer and to the Chief of VLN Sport, Peter Bröcher. Both Mauer and Bröcher will step back from the VLN Executive Committee as scheduled at the end of the year due to their age.

“I am happy and relieved that already at this early stage, we can confirm two competent personalities with Ralph-Gerald Schlüter and Michael Bork, who both already now bear responsibility within the VLN as members of the three-man Board of Shareholders”, was Mauer’s comment regarding the decision of the VLN Shareholders.

Ralph-Gerald Schlüter will begin his term of office as Chief Representative of the VLN oHG on 1st January 2018, Michael Bonk will start his work as Chief of VLN Sport with immediate effect in order to prepare the 2018 season. In parallel, Peter Bröcher will continue to act as Race Director for the remaining VLN races 2017, together with a pool of three Clerks of the Course. Thereafter, he will also pass over his position as Race Director to Michael Bork.
