The VLN family is increasing. At VLN race 4 next weekend, the KTM X-BOW GT4 will for the first time start in a separate Cup classification with the title „KTM X-BOW Cup powered by Michelin“. Hubert Trunkenpolz is full of anticipation: “As a result of the excellent cooperation between the DMSB, the VLN Organisation, Reiter Engineering, Michelin and KTM Sportcar we are now getting our latest ‘racing baby’ off the ground.” The approaching ride over the Nordschleife makes the heart of the KTM Member of the Executive Board beat faster: “The Nürburgring and specifically the Nordschleife is something very special for each race driver and likewise for each manufacturer. It is a unique circuit that that is extraordinarily challenging. To be represented here with an own Cup is really fantastic for us.”
Isert Motorsport has entered three cars for VLN race 4. “We were truly enthusiastic right away when we became aware of the plans to organise a Cup with the KTM X-BOW GT4 within the VLN. For us, this car combines safety, performance and cost-efficiency in the most attractive manner and I am convinced that many other teams will follow our path. I am moreover very proud that we can start with two brilliant driver duos – and that we have been able to rent out another car to a customer already for this first race”, says Team Principle Uwe Isert. The driver duos are Johannes and Ferdinand Stuck, Arne Hoffmeister and Fredy Barth as well as Nils Jung and Florian Wolf. “It is incredible and awesome to come back to the Nordschleife with the KTM X-BOW GT4. Ferdi and I are fully motivated and we are looking forward to compete in such a spectacular and fast car”, informs Johannes Stuck. Fredy Barth adds: “The Nordschleife is something very special, in particular in this car. First and foremost, we wish to finish the race and the positions will then come about on their own.”
