Tyre manufacturer Hankook and the VLN Veranstaltungs- und Vermarktungsgesellschaft mbH (VLN VV) have concluded an agreement about the exclusive tyre partnership for classes GT4 and TCR in the VLN endurance championship. It will be the first time this season that Hankook will equip the cars in both VLN classes with racing tyres of the type Ventus Race.
“Both the VLN endurance championship Nürburgring and Hankook are firmly established in motorsport”, says Dietmar Busch, VLN VV Managing Director, and he is clearly delighted about the new partnership. “We are very happy that we were able to come into an agreement for our series with such an experienced tyre partner.”
Manfred Sandbichler, Hankook Motorsport Direktor Europe, adds: “The new partnership is yet another indication of how successful our premium products in motorsport are worldwide. We are absolutely delighted to be able to communicate such a highlight at the beginning of this motorsport season and we are looking forward to an exciting season at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.”
