The VLN Veranstaltungs- und Vermarktungsgesellschaft mbH – in brief VLN VV – has become operational on the 1st of January 2017. Managing Director is Dietmar Busch who has so far been in charge of running the business in the VLN head office. The business seat of the company is at the Nürburgring.
Last year, the VLN endurance championship organisers have initiated the further development and future of the series which ran for the first time in the year 1977. For this purpose, the VLN VV GmbH was created together with the capricorn Nürburgring Besitz GmbH (CNBG). This new company will basically take over the duties of the previous VLN head offices in Radevormwald which will be dissolved at the end of this month. The further development of the VLN endurance championship Nürburgring will also be in the focus of the new company.
The areas Sport and Technology will continue to be under the responsibility of the VLN e.V. & Co. oHG, the association made up of the nine VLN race organisers ADAC-Westfalen, Renngemeinschaft Düren, AC Altkreis Schwelm, MSC Adenau, Dortmunder MC, Rheydter Club für Motorsport, MSC Ruhrblitz Bochum, MSC Sinzig and MSC Münster. Karl Mauer will continue as chief representative of this association.
