Kappeler starts the new season with great ambitions

Kappeler Motorsport, the small private from from Bad Saulgau in Baden-Württemberg, will in 2016 again participate in the VLN endurance racing championship Nürburgring. The team will hereby amongst others focus on the reliability of a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. Their anticipation is great as it will be on the 2nd of April already when the announcement will be made at the Nürburgring: “Gentlemen, start your engine” and the new VLN season will begin.

Kappeler Motorsport will again compete at the Nürburgring with a Porsche 911 GT 3 Cup and they do not want to rest on their laurels of the last season. They intend to provide strong battles with their competitors and to fight for top places in the class classification.

The team’s continuity is also reflected in the composition of the team. Regular drivers will, as before, be team manager Thomas Kappeler, Thomas Gerling and Harald Hennes. “It will definitely not be easy as we have spoiled the plans of a number of our competitors last season. Any they will for sure have a very close eye on us. But we will start our project without any pressure, we will do our best and see at the end of the season where we finally finish”, says Thomas Kappeler.

The team will also be engaged in the new Porsche Cayman GT4 Trophy where Kappler Motorsport will provide service for the customer team with Willy Hüppi and Alexander Schula. The start of the new Trophy is greatly anticipated by everybody.

The whole team of Kappeler Motorsport is looking forward to an exciting championship in 2016 and will use the remaining time until the start of the season to prepare car and team onto the big challenges.
