Horn-Motorsport to present its Porsche 997 GT 3 Cup

It was under the slogan “Drive to the Hell” that the team of Horn-Motorsport presented its new race car to the 130 invited guests in the perfectly chosen and elegant ambience of the new Porsche museum at Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.

Michael Illbruck and team manager David Horn welcomed their guests of sports, of the Porsche scenery and of business to inform on their motivation and also on the seriousness of their activities. In his speech, team manager David Horn mentioned that their programme included the complete season of the BFGoodrich Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring with three test days and also their participation in the international 24h Race at the Nürburgring. For the 24h Race, the team made up of drivers Michael Illbruck, Hans-Georg Horn and David Horn will be supported by endurance race specialist Christian Ried from the team Gelbermayr-Proton, well known from the ALMS and the FIA GT (GT 3 RSR). The key members of the crew will be made up of ten persons who all are Porsche specialists in everyday life and thus entirely familiar with the issue.

”We must mention and thank the technically responsible representatives of Porsche Motorsport, the Technical Commission, the VLN and the ADAC Nordrhein scrutineers who all supported our preparations and the realisation of our project with their information and their commitment.” To promote young drivers, the team Horn Motorsport will in addition enter a 997 GT 3 RS in the Porsche Sportscup which becomes more and more popular.
