Ten times enthralling motor racing in the ‘Green hell’, in 2009

The 2009 BFGoodrich Endurance Championship Nürburgring calendar once again comprises ten races. On 04th April, the season will be kicked off with the 56th ‘ADAC Westfalenfahrt’. The next two rounds, on 18th April and 02nd May, will be followed by the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race (21st to 24th May, 2009). The 6h ADAC Ruhr Pokal Race held on 18th July will be the season highlight while the 34th DMV Münsterlandpokal on 31st October represents the season finale. Apart from the 6-hour race, all the other rounds on the 24.433-kilometre combination of Grand Prix circuit and Nordschleife will feature a race distance of four hours. The basis schedule remains unchanged: the 90-minute qualifying session from 08:30 to 10:00hrs is crucial for the grid positions. And at 12:00hrs, up to 210 cars will rocket away to battle it out in the ‘Green Hell’.

Fan friendliness remains a top priority. Therefore, the entrance is free all around the Nordschleife. Only those who want to witness the race action from the Grand Prix circuit’s grandstands and visit the paddock will have to pay €12. The reward is motor-racing at your fingertips, as the BFGoodrich Endurance Championship Nürburgring offers the spectators the chance of witnessing the work of the teams during both the practice sessions and the race at close range. Between the practice session and the race, the pit-lane is open and invites the visitors to enjoy extensive pit-walks and promenade through the starting grid.
