ROWE extends its sponsoring activities in the VLN

The ROWE Mineralölwerk GmbH extends its sponsoring activities in the VLN endurance championship Nürburgring. Since 2009, ROWE, which has its headquarters in Worms / Rhineland-Palatinate, has been the official sponsor of the worldwide most popular grassroots racing series at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. From the season 2017, the representation of ROWE in the VLN will be even more prominent: Their logo will appear on the start number panels of all racing cars.

“ROWE has been a reliable sponsoring partner in the VLN since many years”, says Dietmar Busch, the VLN VV GmbH Managing Director. “In view of this we are very happy that the company will further extend its sponsoring activities in the future.”

ROWE Mineralölwerk GmbH is an expanding company in the lubricant industry with its main business seat in Worms. It was established in 1995 in Flörsheim-Dalsheim, Rheinhessen/ Germany, by sole shareholder and Managing Director Michael Zehe and expanded continuously so that its headquarters were moved to Bubenheim (Palantinate) in the year 2000. Due to increasing demands and the requirement for additional production capacities, ROWE opened its new head offices in Worms on the 9th of December 2013.

“We have a lot in common with the VLN endurance championship Nürburgring”, confirms Michael Zehe who was able to celebrate many top ten results, including an overall victory in the VLN, between 2010 and 2016 as driver in the team-owned Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 and in the new BMW M6 GT3. “We have started our racing activities in endurance racing and have been able to further develop them with great success. The VLN still provides a perfect platform for our marketing activities so that we didn’t have to think long about expanding our engagement when we got this opportunity.”

On the start number panels, ROWE will replace the tyre retail chain Premio Reifen + Autoservice after the termination of the latter’s sponsoring agreement with the VLN end of 2016 after seven years.
