Møller Bil Motorsport revealed their plans for the 2017 season recently. The team from Norway will compete with an Audi RS 3 LMS in their tenth year of participation in the VLN.
The crew of the Audi dealer from North Europe can look back onto a successful year 2016. With three class wins in the SP3T as well as one second and one third place, the Audi TT-RS team around Håkon Schjærin has achieved more than respectable results. They will now take up a new challenge in the TCR class.
The composition of the drivers and team members will remain the same. Schjærin will share the steering wheel of the new compact sports car made in Ingolstadt with Atle Gulbrandsen and Kenneth Østvold. For the 6h race on 19th August, Anders Lindstad will moreover join the team. The team staff in the pit lane will not change, either, and Raeder Motorsport will continue to support the experienced mechanics from various Norwegian Audi dealers on-site at the race track.
„We had an excellent season last year“, says Schjærin. “We are now ready for a new challenge.”
