The 2009 season will be the debut season for the Corvette Competition Cup that also will be held at the Nürburgring – integrated into the BFGoodrich Endurance Championship Nürburgring. On the Nordschleife and the Grand Prix circuit’s short layout, the rear-wheel driven sports cars will demonstrate their racing skills.
The Corvette Competition Cup is supposed to be established as cost-efficient Gran Turismo racing alternative. Thanks to its combination of reliable production technology and proven motor-sport components, the Corvette Competition R provides motor-racing and driving pleasure aplenty. An attractive financing model for the purchase of the car currently is created. For the competitors, running the cars is made easier by a spare-part system located close to the Nürburgring. The entrants will be provided with spare and wear parts at special prices.
Furthermore, the range features additional equipment packages. To minimise the budget necessary to contest the season, one of these packages features accommodation and maintenance of the car near by the circuit. If desired, service staff for the race weekends also will be available. At every event, the Corvette Competition Cup hospitality with its meals and drinks will represent the meeting point and information centre.
Responsible for distribution, realisation and organisation is the company PSR Automotive GmbH, Adenau. Additional information for interested parties and the Nürburgring enthusiasts are available at the presentation event in the paddock or firstname.lastname@example.org.
